The VTCT Level 2 Course in Remove hair using Sugaring is a unit of credite qualification that has been specifically designed for therapists who wish to use a more natural approach to removing hair and will help you develop your practical skills in applying both strip sugar and hand sugar paste techniques. You will get a certificate in a unit of credit which is accredited and insurable.
The units of study are:
- Remove the hair using sugaring
This is completed over 2 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our salon working on real clients. Ideally you will attend for a training day and return after a break for your assessments.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit. You will also cover Health and Safety in the salon.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

Note: If you are new to waxing or sugaring you may wish to study this over a longer period in order to gain maximum practise time before assessment.
Sugaring L2 VTCT (Unit)
This course is ideal for those wishing to gain extra skills and add to their hair removal to their treatment menu. It is especially ideal for adults as continuing professional development in the beauty industry. It is also ideal for those therapists who wish to have a more natural approach to hair removal.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
