The VTCT Level 1 Certificate in Beauty Therapy provides you with knowledge and skills to be able to perform basic beauty treatments. The units of study are:
- Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector
- Health and Safety
- Working with Others in the Sector
- Basic Facial and Skincare
- Basic Manicure
- Basic Pedicure
- Basic Makeup
- Nail Art Application
This course is completed over 5 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.
