The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments will prepare you for a career as a beauty therapist. The units of study are :

 

  • Monitor Health and Safety
  • Client and Consultation
  • Working in the Beauty Industry
  • Facial Electrotherapy
  • Body Electrotherapy
  • Body Massage

 

You can then choose one pathway:

 

Pathway One

  • Pre-blended Aromatherapy Oil Massage
  • Stone Therapy Massage 

 

Pathway Two

  • Microderamabrasion
  • Epilation
  • Tanning

 

This course is completed over 15 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients. 


There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.

 

Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn. 

 

This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.

 

Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

  • This course is ideal for those wishing to advance their Level 2 Beauty Skills and offer their clients more advanced treatments. It is ideal for students aged 17 and over whilst being especially suitable for adults wishing to work in a salon or spa setting.

     

    Please note if you are looking for a career on cruise ships the Pathway Two is the preferred option.

     

    Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence. 

     

    No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.

     

    This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
