The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Facial Electrotherapy (QCF) is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide facial electrical treatments.
 
You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, how to promote client care and communication in beauty related industries and the study of dermatology and microbiology. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical application skills in microcurrent, microdermabrasion, galvanic, faradic, high frequency and vacuum suction facials. The unit of study is: 
 
Provide facial electrotherapy treatments
Apply micro dermabrasion
Dermatology and microbiology
Client care and communication in beauty related industries
Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon

This course is completed over 5 days with online study resources as well as in the classroom. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients.
 
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
 
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn and you will be required to completed some learning prior to the start of the course.
 
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.

Requirements:  You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.
