The VTCT Level 2 Award in Nail Technology will teach you to apply a artificial nail strucure in your choose of medium either UV Gel Builder or Acrylics.
You will also be taught how to perform refils and rebalance. The unit of study are:
Nail Enhancements - Acrylic OR Gel Builder
The course length is dependant on what medium/product you wish to learn with but we highly recommended that you extend your learning to up to one month to ensure that you have practised application prior to assessments on clients. The majority of time here will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit. Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

Nail Technology L2 Award VTCT
This course is ideal for those learners who already hold a manicure certificate and want to extend their skills to applying nail extensions in the Nail industry.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
A kit is required for this course to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
