The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-Up is a qualification that will complement your knowledge, understanding and skills, gained at Level 2 makeup and will allow you to perform fashion and photographic make-up treatments, reinforce bridal work and design mood boards. The units of study are:
- Monitoring Health and Safety
- Client Care and Consultation
- Fashion and Photographic Makeup
- Promte and Sell Products/Services
This course is completed over 4 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our salon working on real models and clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend a Salon Tunic and Trousers. You will also need two sets of professional makeup brushes.

Fashion & Photographic Makeup L3 Certificate VTCT
This course is suitable for students who wish to progress from level 2 apply makeup to working in the industry with photographers, catwalk events and editorial shoot directors.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
You will need two sets of professional makeup brushes - please discuss this with Olive Training at the time of booking. Brushes are available for purchase.
No specific makeup kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications
Ideally you will have completed Level 2 Makeup or equivilent. Olive Training may consider some applictions where potential students have some work based skills and can produce a portfolio of their work.
