This VTCT L2 NVQ Makeup qualification is about providing make-up services for a variety of occasions, including natural day, evening and special occasions such as classic and traditional bridal. You will need to show you can work with a variety of skin types and conditions.
The qualification covers the application of a wide range of make-up products to different skin tones and age groups. To carry out this qualification you will be shown how to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene throughout your work.
The unit of study is:
- Provide Makeup Services (day, evening and special ocassion)
This will allow you to obtain employment and insurance working as a makeup artist.
This course is completed over 2 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients. If you feel that additional days would suit you better please contact us for charges.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit. Pre-study is essential.
