This course is designed to teach you the practical application in the Mendhi Henn Skin Decoration.
 
You will be shown how to mix henna paste to use in the application of skin decoration, whilst understanding the health and safety aspects of the technique. You will also be taught how to prepare a template design and transfer this to hands, arms, feet and legs. You will also be shown how to use some simple design techniques to produce a beautiful freehand skin decoration.
 
The course will cover traditional and more modern applications in order to achieve a skin stain lasting up to 10 days, which is ideal for parties and festivals.
 
You will work on a real client to gain the experience of application in a studio environment, using techniques to protect the design in the early stages of application.
 
There is also a health and safety theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit which will be studied both online and in the classroom, and you will be expected to complete 2 case studies in your own time prior to certification.
