The VTCT Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF) is a practical-based qualification intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.

It is a Level 4 award and has been developed for internal quality assurance staff. This qualification is approved and supported by Lifelong Learning UK, now a division of The Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), the sector-owned body for the learning and skills sector.

This qualification provides the knowledge and skills required to progress to employment as an internal verifier.

The course consists of three units:
Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of Assessment
Internally assure the quality of assessment
