This Course is about providing advanced body treatments using electrical equipment including Galvanic, Faradic (EMS), Microcurrent, Vacuum Suction (Lympahtic Drainage, and Microdermabrasion for different body treatments and offers a unit of credit VTCT certificate.
The unit of study is:
- Provide body electrical treatments
This is a Unit of Credit Certification from VTCT. This will allow you to obtain employment and insurance.
This course is completed over a 4 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn and you will be required to completed some learnign prior to the start of the course.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

Advanced Body Electrics L3 NVQ (Unit) VTCT
This course is ideal for adults wishing to extend their skills from level 2 beauty therapy, massage therapists and complementary therapies to include advance body treatments.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, case studies, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit or equipment is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase these to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course. Olive Training can arrange for salon time to be included after course hours to allow for case studies to be carried out should students not have their own machines at home.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications
