The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Salon Management is a qualification that has been specifically designed for stylists and beauty therapists working in the hair and beauty related industry, who wants to move into first line salon management.
Mandatory units of study for the level 3 certificate are:
- Contribute to the effective running of business
- Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
- Human resource management within the hair and beauty sector

This course is delivered online over an eight week period which gives the learner time to pace their learning. The time will be spent studying the theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit and evidence of home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria. You must be working in the beauty industry to be able to show evidence to support your assignments. Some evidence must be produced as audio-visual and witness statements.

L3 Salon Management VTCT
This qualification is suitable for hairdressers, barbers, beauty therapists and nail technicians who are woring in the industry and are preparing to or have taken on a managerial role.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence. Tutorials are phone or Skype based. Tutorials can also be arranged face to face depending on location.
No kit is required for this course.
