The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Epilation develops your skills using electrolysis for hair removal and teaches you the underpinning health and safety to be able to use it in your own practice. The units of study are:
- Monitor Health and Safety
- Client Care and Consultation
- Epilation
This course is completed over 4 days. However we recommend this course can be studied over an extended period of up to 3 months. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.

Epilation L3 Cert VTCT
This course is ideal for adults wishing to start a new career in hair removal or those wishing to extend their skills from level 3 beauty therapy.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, case studies, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit or equipment is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase these to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
Olive Training can arrange for salon time to be included after course hours to allow for case studies to be carried out should students not have their own machines at home.
