The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-Up is designed to develop your practical skills in applying make-up, eyelash and eyebrow treatments and how to give instruction on make-up application. The units of study are:
- Health and Safety
- Client Consultation
- Makeup Application
- Instructing Makeup Lessons
- Eyelash and Brow Treatments
- Eyelash Perming
This course is completed over 4 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend a Salon Tunic and Trousers. You will need at least two sets of Makeup Brushes.

Cosmetic Makeup L2 Cert VTCT
This course is designed for anyone wishing to start out their career in becoming a makeup artist or as an introduction to beauty treatments.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
You will need to bring two sets of makeup brushes - please discuss this with Olive Training at the time of booking. Brushes are available for purchase.
No specific makeup kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualification
