The VTCT Level 3 Award in Camouflage Make-Up has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in providing traditional camouflage make-up services. You will learn about camouflage make-up for scar tissue, birth marks, tattoos and other skin imperfections as desired by clients and how to cover these using specificially design makeup such as dermablend and veil makeup products. This course is completed over 1 day. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our salon working on real clients.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study is required prior to the start of the course to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

This course is ideal for those wishing to work in the area of camouflage makeup with clients in their own practice or in medical settings such as hospitals and medical centres. It is also a useful skill to have in the makeup industry when working with photographic or film industries or bridal work and is often used in the NHS to camouflage skin blemises. Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course. Some study is required prior to the start of the course at this centre.
