The VTCT Level 3 NVQ Award in Airbrush Make-Up will teach you to practical skills in the artistic techniques of the application of airbrush make-up to the face, body and hair as well as how to plan and create airbrush make-up designs to the body using different types of paint.
The unit covered is :
Plan and provide airbrush make-up (silicone, alcohol and water based makeup)
The course is completed over 3 days. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in our studio working on real models. You will learn to apply a full makeup and contouring and 3D effects, etc.
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.
Home study and revision is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria.
This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.
Requirements: You will need to attend a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

Airbrush Makeup L3 NVQ Award VTCT
This course is ideal for makeup artists who want to take the next step and develop new application techniques. It is especially useful in bridal work, corporate events and also for competition entries.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests, projects and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase equipment and makeup to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications
