The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Beauty Therapy qualification is appropriate for a workbased learning route for higher skills and employment in the beauty industry, using qualifications that combine both skills and knowledge.
The units of study are :
- Management of health , safety and security in the salon
- Physiology of ageing
- Quality management of client care in the health and beauty sector
- Salon Management
- Chemistry of hair and beauty products
- Dermatology and microbiology
This course will take up to one - two months to complete but can be studied over an extended period up to six months. This blended study programme is a combination of Online study, small practical assessments which need to be undertaken at our centre and a small number of assessments carried out in your own salon environment. (Remote assessment may be available or travel fees may be incurred - please ask for more information)
There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit. Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn.

Please note:
Learners wishing to undertake this qualification should ideally have a minimum of level 3 qualifications or equivalent and a minimum of three years salon experience, however candidates with one year experience can be considered at the discretion of Olive Training.
Advanced Beauty Therapy L4 Cert VTCT
This course is ideal for those wishing to advance their Level 3 skills and work towards Level 4 skills especially in salon management. offer their clients more advanced treatments. It is ideal for those wishing to work in a salon, studio or spa setting who already have two to three years experience of delivering level 3 treatments.
Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of assignments, tests, workshop activities and practical assessments of your client care and managerial work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence.
Attendance at Olive Training will be required for two days for activity workshop, delivery and tutorial. Some managerial and client care assessments will be carried out in your own salon environment within one day. Please ask for more details on this as additional charges for mileage may apply.

This qualification is suitable to follow for Spa Managers, Beauty Therapists, Senior Therapists and Aesthetic Professionals.
This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
