The VTCT NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage Route will ensure that you are prepared for a career as a beauty therapist. The units of study are :

  • Massage using Pre-blended aromatherapy oils

This course runs over 15 days with flexible study to meet the guided learning hours. The majority of this time will be spent gaining and learning practical techniques to carry out the treatments in the salon working on real clients. 


There is also a theory content to ensure that you have the underpinning essential knowledge for each unit.

 

Home study is required to ensure that you meet the necessary criteria through our Online Classroom OlivElearn. 

 

This Course is fully accredited by VTCT - Vocational Training Charitable Trust, is a Government-approved awarding organisation.

 

Requirements: You will need to attend in a Salon Tunic and Trousers.

  • This course is ideal for those wishing to advance their Level 2 Beauty Skills and offer their clients more advanced treatments. It is ideal for students aged 19 and over and especially suitable for adults wishing to work in a salon or spa setting.

     

    Please note if you are looking for a career on cruise ships this General route is ideal.

     

    Throughout the course you will be assessed by a combination of short assignments, tests and practical assessments of your work; and will compile a portfolio of evidence. 

     

    No kit is required for this course however we do recommend that you purchase one to allow you to practise at home - your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of your course.

     

    This qualification is approved and supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA), the standard setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa qualifications.
